As your trustee, Shawn Xaviour is committed to making a difference in the Catholic Education system in Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. He wants to be the prime connection for the community and advocate the needs of what students of today require. His personal commitment is to represent and support the parents, guardians and tax payers to the best of his ability.

As Nelson Mandela said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can change the world", we need to nurture our younger generation as they are the future leaders of the world. The world is constantly changing and for our children to succeed and adapt to these changes, education must change. He believes the staff and students need the leading edge tools in order to further enhance our education system, and the teachings of our Catholic Faith Education must include the Parish, Home and School Community.
